A 20,000 Pound To-Go Order.

The folks at the SF-Marin Food Bank sure know what they’re doing. With 70% of their workforce coming from volunteers like us, they run a tight, well-organized operation. Which led to a rag-tag group of helpers packaging up 20,000 pounds of melons, hundreds of bags full of groceries and 1,200 pounds of one-pound bags of frozen corn. All within a couple of hours. Love makes the world go 'round, and apparently, it also can make warehouses operate efficiently.
