Gathering, And Acting, In His Name.

We made the most out of our regularly scheduled Random Acts of Catholics gathering at Our Lady of Mount Carmel recently by bringing clothing and food items to the meeting. The clothing items went to Bloom, a non-profit that helps people transition to a self-reliant life, as well as to the victims of the fires in Napa and Sonoma. The canned goods were for the OLMC Saint Vincent de Paul food pantry. During the meeting, we continued to plan some wonderful Acts including how to further help the people ravaged by the fires. As Saint Anthony of Padua reminds us, “Charity is the soul of faith.”
